A community-wide Caribbean Disaster Relief effort is being coordinated by a collection of South Florida and global promoters, local small businesses, and nonprofit organizations to support impacted families and persons from the recent impact of Hurricane Beryl on the affected islands. The intention is to raise awareness of Hurricane Beryl’s devastating effects in the Caribbean and the urgent need for basic necessities. Proceeds will go toward the Caribbean Strong Relief Fund at The Miami Foundation.
You, your family and your neighbors have collected supplies to help those families who have been evacuated or staged in shelters. All are encouraged to review the priority list needs, purchase available items and to deliver them prepackaged with listing and description of items for shipment.
Reach into your wallet, grab your credit/debit card and send even if it's just $5 it makes a difference in the life of someone who has recently had everything taken from them.
We are raising funds that will benefit those who need it most.
The Miami Foundation has established one of three Relief Funds (https://miami.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create/fund?funit_id=3596) to support relief and recovery efforts especially in the St. Vincent & the Grenadines.
